Kayaking in Madison for my 29th birthday

Yes, you can kayak in Madison; its got all sorts of lakes right downtown, quite close to the capitol building, and probably has more waterfront property in prime locations than anywhere else. A friend of mine lives in Madison, has kayaks, and lent me one. It was a lot of fun, and I spent some time exploring state street, a Madison landmark, before heading home to my lucious Key Lime Pie.
